10-year-old girl found after being reported missing in East Los Angeles, sheriff's department says

EAST LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A 10-year-old girl has been found after she was reported missing from East Los Angeles on Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

On Tuesday, authorities said the child had last been seen at about 3:34 p.m. near Dennison Street and Ditman Avenue.

In an update at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, the sheriff's department said the girl had been found.

"Thank you to the public, the media, Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Miss Miller," the department wrote.

Further details on where and how the child was located were unavailable.
